(118,830 posts)You went at the right time.

(149,726 posts)It's cooler, most of the tourists are gone and the rainy season hasn't gotten underway yet.
Also, prices are lower! I don't know how much lower, though.

(118,830 posts)is helping out a bus tour mate with her lost purse. I was the only one on the tour who spoke french. We raced through the streets on foot to get back to where she lost her purse/wallet. There was a group of us. It was about 4 am. The bakeries were on each street as you would know. They were baking. It smelt so good. France does not smell as good once all the baking is done. It was heaven.

(2,040 posts)I have ever visited. Stayed for hours. Wanted to lay on the floor and try to see it all at one time, but old man here was afraid I couldn't get back up!
Thanks for posting. Great memories!

(149,726 posts)I hear you about not being able to get up! Yikes.
It might be OK in an amazing place like this one.

(149,726 posts)Light sharts? Or is that a misspelling? I am no genius, however!
The angle that I took the photo might have contributed to its beauty. Certainly not a conscious move on my part!

(14,897 posts)I'd like to go back to Paris and visit all the places that I didn't have time to see during my last visit!
CaliforniaPeggy
(149,726 posts)To do that, you might as well move there! So much to see there.
