Some great shading to the clouds outside my high rise this afternoon.
Here are two shots
Thought this one might be interesting with the dark buildings for contrast
And no editing for color--a different direction
Edited to add one taken as darkness descends

(31,414 posts)I went out to walk Snowy about 4:30. The entire block was police barricaded. There had been a shooting in front of a restaurant--on my block--just the other side of our parking garage. I could have been a witness or walking right by it. It happened during the time I routinely walk Snowy right by there any time between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
Just when I was feeling like this could be home...it's one of the reasons I have thought seriously about moving out of the country. There are too many guns in too many hands of people who shouldn't have them.

Stay safe out there!

(22,381 posts)It's illustrating something I like a lot, when clouds correspond (even in reverse) to what's going on on the ground. Which, as is illustrated in your other photographs, is also going on in them.
I hope you are enjoying living up high as much as you seem to be.
