at the butterfly conservatory in Key West



It was pretty funny when some other visitor said "Oh look they're fornicating on you!" then looked around and noticed all the kids (some were even hers lol) and you could tell she was embarrassed to have said that out loud. The guide came over and said "It's nature!" and generally made her feel less scandalized but did nothing to stop the orgy.

On the way down to Key West we stopped in Key Largo and rode on the African Queen - the real one fro mthe movie. Captain Brian let us steer for a little bit.





Key west was a LOT of fun but OPPRESSIVELY hot. Thank goodness for beer!

12. Reminds me of the time I went to a Butterfly House

with a group and two women were frightened about all the fluttering creatures. Two landed on her shoulder and her friend informed her of the butterflies on her. She half-turned to me, I was behind her in the group , and she said in a timid voice, "What are they doing?"

I replied, "I think they are making little butterflies."

Both she and her friend laughed and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.

I can't get over the beautiful pattern on the wings in the first photo. Even the second photo is an interesting design.

The first photo reminds me of patterns in the arts and crafts movement.
