(90,765 posts)The hummingbirds were nice enough to visit the flowers while I was nearby. I had been sitting near the flowers for just that reason, of course. lol

(4,588 posts)This is a wonderful sequence of shots of the little guy. How fortunate to have such a visitor. I've never seen one in my yard but they are around here in North Jersey. I've thought about getting the special feeder to try and attract them. This might be some inspiration.

(90,765 posts)Do get one! You'll enjoy watching them and getting photos of them at play. You all get the Ruby-throated Hummingbird and the Rufous Hummingbird.
That's a Ruby-Throated in my photos. I get the Rufous as they pass through on migration. Never more than a few days in early spring. I think the Rufous Hummingbird is beautiful.
