There wasn't any wind tonight, and I think that helped.

I appreciate your kind remarks a great deal!

Your words touch my heart and lift my spirits.

I hope your snow will soon depart and allow the spring to grow.

We need the moisture, as my gardening group is getting ready to plant. Well, they are. I will plant after Mothers' Day. . our weather is too unpredictable.

What a lovely thing to say.

Thank you for your encouragement! The moon keeps challenging me and I feel compelled to answer.

I love meeting the moon in a clear blue sky with just enough darkness to make it clearly stand out.

Until we meet again! No doubt about that.

Thank you for your poetic words.

And you have described nearly perfectly how I feel when I first see the moon as I'm deciding whether or not to get the photo.

I had time tonight.

My senses were stirred.

Excellent photo. Well done!

* A sarcastic reference to flat Earthers, who think we live on a pizza with a "dome" over the top. These people are IDIOTS.

I am very aware of the flat Earthers! I hadn't heard this quote from them, however.

True, they are idiots. But in their own way, they can be hilarious!

Glad you enjoyed my photo!

They can be hilarious, as you say. Some are more ridiculous than others, but all are ridiculous.
My biggest beef, however, are moon landing deniers. Especially since I was alive when it happened. Once again, don't get me started on those morons!!

Still a great photo. I need to get some moon pics, especially since I got SKUNKED by weather in San Antonio last week during the eclipse.

My only photo I was able to capture:

Please do get busy with moon shots! For myself, I prefer the waxing and waning phases, both crescent and gibbous.

They each have their challenges and their beauties.

I'm sorry that you only got one photo from the eclipse. But it's quite nice! I was unhappy to miss the total solar eclipse. AndyS and I were going to see it together, but he was very ill late last year, and then he died. It was awful. Anyway. That's a story for another time . . .

And when you do get your photos, please let us see them too! I love seeing other people's moon shots.
