2. Suprise Suprise!!

I was in a book/gift store and saw a realistic stuffed cat in a basket on the floor. Pretty soft looking cat. I reach down to stroke it and it opened its very real eyes and yawned. Sweet cat who lived there.

I could see that it's a cat, but I couldn't tell just where it was.

But then the light dawned! A magazine rack.

4. The most amusing hidden cat story...

Back in the 70's my future wife and I went to visit some friends of mine down in NOLA.

They owned two cats. About an hour after we arrived, both of their cats went missing.

They (the friends) asked if we'd let them out by accident, we assured them we had not.

All four of us proceeded to tear the apartment apart to find them. No sign of either cat.

Friends were very distraught, (we were miserable too). About an hour later I went to get

something I needed out of my suitcase and...called everyone into the room.

They'd pushed open the closed but unlocked top of my suitcase and both cats, were

snuggled on top of my clothes. We all shared a good laugh.
