Some new insect photos!

This is Chrysochroa purpureiventris, I think. Check out the blog entry for some discussion of that.
Next is another species in the same genus, Chrysochroa fulgens, the glorious jewel beetle:
This is the invasive planthopper Lycorma delicatula, the spotted lanternfly currently invading the eastern U.S.
And finally, here is the non-insect, Hypocnoctus ranguensis, a whip scorpion or vinegaroon from Myanmar:

Absolutely stunning, every one. The colors and the textures are mind-boggling!
It's been a while since I posted any, and I've busted out a bunch of new ones. I'm almost getting caught up!
