Since it's come up. Any of you jam online? Jamkazam, Jamulus, Sonobus. Or another? (Original Post) bullimiami Jun 2023 OP

I'm in Broward using xfinity. Not the most solid service. Online jamming hasn't worked for me. Any suggestions?

Mac M1, Ventura. Logic, Studio One, Reaper are my DAWs.

10 milliseconds of latency is a lifetime groove-wise and there’s no way Centurylink is gonna do any better than that.

Maybe once we get fiber optic throughout the chain.

It’s not the speed as much as the latency.

You have to be wired. Wi-Fi adds too much latency.

My WiFi is 1/8th the speed of our network speed, and there's one more layer of transmission each way.
If I try this, I'll have to go direct from the laptop.
