2. Such A Fun Song To Play

The wah pedal was made for this song, not the other way around.
He really stays faithful at the beginning aside from playing 9th chords instead of 7ths.
I think I'd play the 9ths, too. Great idea.
Even the beginning of the solo is pretty much what Jimi did, but after a few bars he goes full SRV.
But, he does that legato thing halfway through as a homage to the original.
That funky bit he does at the midpoint of the solo is cool.
BTW: to get that sound out of a Strat on the middle pickup, with those amps means he was playing LOUD!
