Also happy to see The Small Faces and The Faces finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Kenny Jones is the only surviving member of the original band.

Which you’ve probably read. It was mostly about the Faces era, Small and regulation-sized. A quality romp through 60s London and what it was like working with big personalities like Steve Marriott and Rod Stewart. It’s a very even-handed treatment, honest about his own issues and humble throughout.

to arrive from England. I ordered it right before Covid lockdown in March and emailed the person who is reprinting it. The virus screwed all their orders up, I have been informed. I have Kenny Jones's book and books about The Small Faces and The Faces.

I feel so badly that he moved to the US and near Ronny Lane right before Lane moved out of Texas for health reasons. There are many good interviews on You Tube with Ian and his live performances. He said that writing the book helped him get through a lot.

and I hope you got your book by now.

Just wanted to let a fellow Marrriot/Small Faces fan know about another book coming out about Steve soon. It's supposed to be an authorized biography, something I'd normally avoid, but this is Steve we're talking about and seriously doubt anyone can get away with whitewashing anything about him!

This is news to me. I got an Amazon gift card from Santa so it seems like this was "meant to be". This book is $70 cheaper than the All Too Beautiful reprint that I still don't have yet.
