Thanks. Have seen him many, many times and I don't think I've heard this on a strat since before Tears in Heaven...maybe his '94 tour ?

I love seeing him perform "Layla" 'plugged'. It does always amuse me to see that it takes two guitarists to play the role of Duane Allman though. Speaks to his prowess as a guitarist and skill with a slide.

I've never seen Doyle use a slide on that song before. Usually he doubles Eric while Derek Trucks does the slide part.
