The Polack MSgt.....According to his setlist this is the only song from Communiqué he will play. He dropped "Silvertown Blues" which is my favorite by him.

Great show.

It was funny that Garth Brooks was there a few weeks before. At our local ticket outlet, people camped out and the line was around the block for his tickets. I showed up at the buttcrack of dawn to stand in line for Dire Straits tickets and there were two other dudes waiting. We took turns making coffee runs until they opened up for us. Hard to believe it wasn't a bigger deal than it was, finally having Dire Straits come closer than Seattle.

As long as we are dissecting Communique, (which I love and has no bad songs) The News is great as well.

And the whole Sailing to Philadelphia album is magic.

Everyone seems to like Local Hero more than I do (So much SLOOOOOOW), but I like this cut. Bet you'd never have guessed that it's the rockabilly tune.
