That song is really evocative of whatever period (and what you were doing when) you first heard it. I always stop what I'm doing to listen on the rare occasions it comes my way today.

Took them 3 weeks just to do the "Ah" vocal parts.
48 tracks. Tape loops. Then creating the chords by fading the write notes in & the wrong ones out.
Whew! It's tedious to even describe it, let alone do it!
Created an awesome sound.

was it the other way around?
They were both released in '75. 10cc in May, Queen In August.
I have a feeling Queen had Rhapsody done or close to it by the time they heard 100cc.
Just a good year for mega-production hits, I'd say.
