The film that won Russell Crowe the Oscar. GLADIATOR was a film driven by women who catapulted Russell Crowe to stardom.

I saw Russell in concert with his band at the House of Blues in Chicago in 2001 and 2003. In 2001, he had just wrapped up with A Beautiful Mind. Halfway through, he took out the Oscar and showed it to us in the Maximus style and we responded with " Strength and Honor".
