Related: About this forumBit of a lost Rolling Stones classic IMHO from their oft-maligned 1976 release Black And Blue
At the time they were 'rehearsing' guitarists to replace Mick Taylor, and they ran through a lot of notable players. Check the Wiki for the record if interested. Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck and Peter Frampton even joined a session or two. Obvs they settled on Ronnie Wood.
Anyways, this is a pretty badass tune from the album.
Happy Friday DUMA

I think that's the only song from the album that got any airplay back in the day. Nt

Released as the lead single off Black and Blue in 1976, "Fool to Cry" reached No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Stones, Bad Company, Erik Clapton, BB King, the Freakish Police. Bonnie Raitt, even a little Elton John badass.
I find Black and Blue to consistent Stones, its only Rock and Roll but I like it. Maligned because a poster of a black and blue female if memory serves??

Memory Hotel and Melody are two of their best in my opinion.
