1. I used to be, now I just breed and grow and have yarn spun for weavers

which I sell to support my research.

I stay connected that way. What do you like to weave?

5. I have three looms: a Nilus LeClerc two shaft table, A 22" four shaft Harrisville Designs ...

beefed up for rag carpet and a Union 36 two shaft for rag carpet.

I'm starting to do 22 to 36" rag rug with center runners and place mats also in rag.

My grandfather and mother wove rugs in the cellar. They vinted an amazing range of wines: grape, peach, cherry, dandelion, pear, currant, blueberry.

7. Used to, but haven't had my loom up since I moved here in 1991.

I am a beginning weaver, and own a rigid heddle loom, an Ashford SampleIt, with a couple of extra heddles. I'm trying to use up some of my huge sock yarn stash and I'm weaving a scarf/table runner on it at the moment. Weaving is fun, but it's just one of a number of crafts I do: knitting, crocheting, spinning, beading, sewing, quilting. At the moment, I'm making myself some flannel PJ's, so weaving is on the back burner.

I saw that you have a floor loom. Unfortunately, I don't have the room for something that big, so it's all on my lap/table.

10. I've got two others: a 22" Harrisville four harness floor loom and an Nilius ...

18" two harness table loom. Weaving is something I like because you have to pay attention but you can stop and pick it back up later.

I also enjoy making bobbin lace, though I am very much in the beginner lane!

I have a ridge heddle loom I absolutely love! Mine is a 15 inch Cricket. I've been weaving for about two years now. I am about ready to move on from plain weave variations with different yarns and try my hand at an actual pattern. Probably the hounds tooth pattern as it seems simple enough. Hoping to upgrade to a 32 inch flip loom next year!

Right now I'm recovering from the holiday crafting crazy and knitting socks for grandsons.

12. The Cricket is a great loom

and was my second choice. The Ashford won out because of the number and variety of different heddles to be had and the price was right. I don’t knit as much anymore as my hands are developing arthritis, especially in my thumbs. Sucks getting old
