I often listen to collections such as th Best of Baroque, but does anybody know of such compilations

which at least show you the titles and composers of the selections that are playing? I'm no expert on music and don't know every piece of Classical music I hear.

any help appreciated - I'd like to know what and who I'm listening to.

(" target="_blank">here's what I'm listening to right now - in case there are some settings which could do what I'm asking for)

I listen to lots of stuff on YouTube--sometimes people put together amusing compilations; sometimes they annotate them fairly well, too.

A lot of the people who put together those playlists are good about annotating their collections with names of the pieces. Sometimes, they'll put up individual pieces, and you have to click on each one to hear them, but you'll have the piece titles that way. Once you learn them, you can listen to the compilations and know what you are hearing.

of course, these are all very will known pieces and most people probably don't in the case of these pieces need the composer's name stated ... but the names of the pieces is good as sometimes when you haven't heard something in a long time you forget the name.
