But my undergrad was in music. Specifically voice. I actually entered into college as a piano major but it was soon discovered that I had a talented countertenor range. My voice teacher and vocal coach for my performances studied under one of Faure's students.

I was taught with the same method that faure taught his student and he taught Diane.

I'm not boasting I never had a career in music. I didnt have the drive but I was always kind of proud of this. I can say I have a direct link to a major composer as tenuous as it may be. I taught private lessons for a while after music school and I Incorporated the same. My teacher called us pedagogical descendants of faure

Her own teacher died nearly 50 years ago. She is quite old now but we still stay in touch. I may be in medicine now but I will always appreciate this link to music history
