Albright's twin brother Malvin, better known as a sculptor, was also commissioned to create a painting of the young Dorian for this movie, although his work went unused. The March 27, 1944, issue of Life Magazine included a story and photos of the brothers working on their paintings for this movie. Trivia: In an interview Dorothy Lamour commented that the "boys" ad-libbed their lines so much she often didn't know when to say her lines since they didn't give her her cue.

Trivia: According to "Dear Boris" biographer Cynthia Lindsay, Josephine Hull and Jean Adair went to their graves believing that Boris Karloff had been so saintly as to agree to let them go to Hollywood to make this film while he stayed on Broadway doing the play.
