I'm watching King of Kings for perhaps the first time an am amazed by...

it's similarity to Ben Hur. The same music and the same actor playing Herod Antipas who played Pontius Pilate. They were both MGM epics. But KoKs looks really good in Technirama wide screen.

productions, but contained some gruesome parts. Being quite young some of the scenes really got to me- Ben Hur with his leper mother and sister. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sword-and-sandal
