My daughter uses a low temperature oven for her work, so they probably heat it to get the shape.

It is a lovely pot!

You roll different colors into a big sausage kind of thing by laying different cane, Like straws sort of made of different color polymer clay. And then you slice it like a cookie. Then you lay that cookie flat and stretch it

Sort of

Here’s a tutorial for a basic flower

So what you’re looking at on the side of that pot is a cross-section of the material

I thought the smaller ones were made with smaller pieces of clay! Amazing.

And I just figured out the logistics of what she does. She makes the designs flat and then wraps them around a pot......I believe.

I really want one but I'm having a hard time justifying the price.

Of polymer clay by rolling colors together in kind of like sushi rolls that reveal a colorful pattern when sliced. Then the slices are smushed together and rolled like cake fondant and the sheets are the used to cover objects and are fired to cure.

These are very beautiful and the artist is highly skilled.

both are deep in to the paper mache stuff. One has made a table and chairs, the other makes colorful beads to use use for mobiles and for jewelry making.

while I think her more usual shape canes (square-ish) are nice,; they are too ? typical for me.

OTOH - those long, organic shapes are really cool! 👍
I love the "pebble" shaped ones.
