The grapes pop in that one. Photographing prismacolor drawings is always kind of iffy.

Have you tried both mediums in one work? Like, maybe the grapes can be watercolor and the backround all feathery and in Prismacolor? I like to do different things.

I have some water soluble metallic colors. I still haven’t decided if I’ll continue on this one though. There are a lot of things I could do. Or I could leave it and move on to another drawing.

Thanks for your suggestion. It’s a very good one so I’ll be open to the possibility.

10. Greens have been a challenge for me.

I consider the yellow hues of lemons and limes to be in the green spectrum. I want to work with them until I can feel I’m the boss of them and not the other way around. Now, after struggling for a few months I’m starting to really like that color group.

with an undetermined light source giving it more like a glow.

But if I decide to make it more of a contrast with strong light I could do what you suggest.
