especially in the sky. But my first impulse was to try to brush off what looks like chalk dust in the sky. But you might be deliberately creating that, although your very still water with reflections seems at odds with the turbulent sky which looks like it might be windy because of the dust. My eye wants to see a consistency of elements reacting to nature throughout the entire canvas. If you want to depict a windy day the water should reflect that. Everything is beautiful but my feeling is that you haven’t finished it.

If you’re stuck my advice is to not do anything until you know exactly what you want to do. Leave it propped up where you can look at it all the time, and not just when you’re painting. It will show you what it needs. Or, to be more exact, your own subconscious will tell you.

is it-waiting on the world to change?
that one is perfect.
i think the thing about painting along is that it cuts out a lot of the "thoughts" aka- doubts.
the good ones get through anyway.

all my best paintings came by closing my eyes and looking inside.
they are all of me, of course, so...

i was never tempted to sign up for that site till the other day when i found a pic of a miniature that i own. i know she never owned it.
she called them "my treasures". it was left unclear in what way they were hers.

i am tempted to sign up just to chew her out, and tell her to either take it down or credit the maker AND the owner.

When you choose the picture you want to show you can copy the link that says ‘Direct’ and then paste it in your post here. If the link url ends on .jpeg it is a photograph and will show up as one.

I’ve been using it for many years and it used to be free but now they do charge.

There is also Flickr. I don’t think they charge.

i did sign up. couldnt find that one, but started pinning his work, and dropping comments.
no insults, just the facts ma'am.

couple that had commerce links i asked if they were available.
i have several pieces that i bought on ebay. he did 2 sets of limited edition reproductions. they are numbered and came w certificates of authenticity, but no one seems to know there are not one-offs.

the one of a kinds i have went for little more than those.
my gain. if they knew that, the one-offs would start fetching the 10x $$ they deserve.
but since none of that goes to him anyway, i aint hurtin nobody.
when he found out about it, he sent me an artist's proof.

hated the questions they made me answer, but told the truth till they asked my age.
but yeah, file under nunyabidness.
gender, other
pronoun, xe

said i was 100. i mean, it's not a complete lie. i have said i am sure i will get there as the women on both sides of my family that i know of made it to 90.

kinda fun.

It looks like it was done on site. Usually I can tell when someone has worked from a photo because the values are off, and the color range is too compressed in the shadows. This, on the other hand, is full of life.
