Imagine

9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980 - We miss you.

Imagine lyrics
Songwriters: Lennon, John

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try
No hell below us, above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do
No need to kill or die for and no religions too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing for the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
Take my hand and join us
And the world will live, will live as one

Wait, why am I having this argument? I'm far too young to be having this debate, I'm pretty at least one of the Beatles was dead before I was born. I'm sure there is some pop culture reference I'm missing in your post, but I'm too tired to think of it. Great song though, he has a great voice.

You have that 60s attitude after all. The big one for us young teens in the mid 60s was Beatles/Stones and that carried on for a while.

Speaking about attitude, that's really what the debate was about. The Stones had a more militant, working class attitude that John Lennon seemed to have shared. NOt that I hated the Beatles, I just preferred the Stones.
