Tom Cotton calls Dick Durbin a "liar"

But apparently he has no problem violating the Logan Act by signing (likely authoring it) and sending an open letter to Iran (regarding the negotiations of the deal to freeze Iran's nuclear program) in March 2015.

Logan Act

The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.

There is no doubt that the motive for the letter was to undercut Obama's diplomatic foreign policy goals.

Thanks for the reminder.

The larger problem is these people will not own up or change their thinking. The only solution is to vote the suckers out.

Duels, I believe, were about honor. However, when an offense is dishonorable, then you take the offender out to the woodshed.

I have been looking into any statutes regarding violations of the federal oath of office. Work in progress.

Graham also reportedly confirmed hearing Trump's racially charged remark in a conversation with fellow South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott.

Reached Friday at a Samsung appliance plant opening in Newberry, Scott said that Graham told him the comments, as reported in the media, were “basically accurate.”

Sen. Jeff Flake, a fierce Republican critic of the President, was not at the meeting but tweeted that he had heard directly from those who were in attendance.

"The words used by the President, as related to me directly following the meeting by those in attendance, were not 'tough,' " he said, taking issue with the President's tweet. "They were abhorrent and repulsive."

"Following comments by the President, I said my piece directly to him yesterday. The President and all those attending the meeting know what I said and how I feel. I've always believed that America is an idea, not defined by its people but by its ideals," Graham said in a statement on Friday.

Graham neither confirmed nor denied the controversial remarks attributed to Trump, but the GOP senator said he appreciated statements from Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).

"I appreciate Senator Durbin's statements and have enjoyed working with him and many others on this important issue," Graham said in his statement.

He’s playing a difficult game, but he is a player. Full-on embrace of Trump to be followed by tactical moves to the center which won’t bother Trump’s base because he was there for the Great Man when so many weasels weren’t...

Throwing all this obfuscation into the mix to protect the Orange One. One of the most terrifying parts of living in Trumplandia is the complete willingness of the Rethuglican Party to do whatever is necessary to keep the Orange One in the Oval Office.

The entire Rethuglican Party is complicit.
