(17,358 posts)It was before my time. But I have watched the Harrison Ford/Tommy Lee Jones movie "The Fugitive" based on the TV series. Actually, I've watched it in full a couple of times and it's so compelling that when I'm flicking through channels I have stopped and watched bits and pieces of it on several other occasions.

(26,696 posts)The Judgment was seen in 72% of the homes using television on the night it aired against scant competition on CBS and NBC. The audience size remained a Nielsen record until Nov. 1980, when it was topped by the Who Shot J.R.? episode of Dallas.

(2,252 posts)A great show in it's day. All of the guest stars appeared in episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock TV series.

I only saw a few episodes during summer reruns.
This thread reminds me of those days when there was usually only one TV in the house, and no way to record anything. Given that my mom had control over the TV, we watched her fave shows. So something must have been on opposite The Fugitive on another channel that she preferred.
Those were dark days indeed. How did we survive?
