Who is getting Iphone 8 as soon as it comes out?

I may have to, long story about my phone, as in if I have to get a new one might as well get the newest.

I hear it is coming 9-12, not sure though.

I also read they were struggling with touch-ID as the new phone screen is different, not sure about that either.

Really like the idea of not having to plug it in to charge, if that happens, that is.

I always wait until the bugs are out of new versions, AND until the old one either breaks or won't handle new software.

my battery isnt great but more than that it shows percentages that arent accurate and I have to do the discharge recycle routines to get accurate readings.

Pain in the arse.

My local place warned me that 25% of the time it breaks when they replace the battery and they would send it to Apple and I would be out of a phone for a week.

But the battery probably isnt it, it is fine, it is the interpretation of it's balance remaining that is goofy

I did a complete reinstall, wiped it, because they said it was a software problem, that did nothing other than make me spend hours doing everything getting it back to where it was.

And no, I am not in the warranty period, the replacement they offered was because I talked them into it. I am afraid to be without my phone and pretty sure battery isnt the problem.

In fact one of the places i took it to put in a different battery and it did same thing while we watched

I don't like the big ones. If I want to carry an ipad, I'll carry an ipad.

I know that Samsung is trying to get their latest greatest out quickly (after their battery debacle), so I imagine that is pushing the new iphone release.

I think the giant phone fad started by Samsung might be fading away though.

I cant buy a 7 if the 8 is next to it for a couple hundred more, call me crazy but if that is the situation, and it will be, I will get the new one.

I would hold out indefinitely were it not for this issue.

The battery in my 6S is at 86%, so it is fine given how long I have had it and how much I use it and charge it.

The problem is the calibration in that the percentage will go up, down, jump, etc. I am re-calibrating it and that helps.

Also, trump IS going to get us all killed, or some of us, so I dont care much anymore about money or debts. Fuck em

I am that guy who has an amazing credit score, has been late making payments NEVER, and I mean that literally. And for what? So this piece of shit can get me killed by a nazi or nuke?

Obviously I care for a whole bunch of other reasons, duh, but I am tired of worrying about bills, trump never pays his, why should I?

Never cracked the screen once. I'll keep it until it doesn't work anymore. I never understood the people who wait in line for the first release of the latest technology. Can't they wait a few weeks?
