Did the dog intend to be helpful, or did he/she just think the kitten was taking too long to get up the steps? Either way, it was super cute when the two of them sat together at the top of the stairway.

She thought she was the 2nd mom when my cat had kittens. She sat by the box and wouldn't move if the mom was away. Later she started picking up the kittens, just like this one did, and trying to take them outside. I caught her carrying one down the steps and had to keep the front door latched at all times after that. She loved those kittens so much.
