(12,132 posts)The main reason why I wasn't interested in new wave or 80s pop - I was listening mostly metal and all my friends did too and when you're a dumb teenager you sometimes forget you can be yourself. I still love all the metal from the 80s but I'm glad I got over myself enough to love the non-metal too.
