Emmys, Tonys, Academy Awards, the various Miss USA/World/Universe pageants, etc.

It used to be a journal of the many facets of the music world and its businesses. It had news and analysis of the insides of the music business. Now, it's become a celebrity rag not unlike People or Us. Their charts are a mishmash of overlapping genres that have less meaning than a racing form. The writing has become unsophisticated and the focus on personalities and "stars" has made it unreadable.

I've had a subscription since the early 1980's but I gave up this year and let it lapse. I haven't missed it.
