Hilarious legacy of Boaty McBoatface

Hilarious legacy of Boaty McBoatface

Not only was the name hilarious and irreverent, it was a perfect description of the vessel, which sported a chirpy red paint job that belied the serious work it will carry out.
And although the British establishment last week rejected the people’s choice as inappropriate, the legacy of Boaty McBoatface lives on, inspiring the naming of a racehorse, “Horsey McHorseface” and a giant Japanese spider crab christened “Cuddlebug McNope”.
Last month, a British train route from Portsmouth to Waterloo was named “Trainy McTrainface”, much to the delight of commuters.
Now a school in Austin, Texas controversially named after famed Confederate general, Robert E Lee, has called on the public to come up with a new title. Among the front runners? Schoolie McSchoolface, of course.

I really love Cuddlebug McNope.

That would have given their future work more publicity that they could ever have hoped for.

Schoolie McSchoolface would make a lot of kids happy, who doesn't want that?
