and just post the link and it would show up here.
Now, most of the time you can't do that.
It will end up like this, you'll see the link and no picture.

I think it's DU. For some reason, the admins won't let me post any Carlos Danger pics.

Some of them disable hot-linking. It depends on whether or not the site admin wants to allow it.

One thing that works for really stubborn ones is to use Google reverse image search to find a different version of the image that ends in jpg or png.
