They don't seem to take into account the single person having to struggle to get a bandage onto their injury one-handed. (Yes, I injured myself earlier this evening, cutting a bell-pepper. I think my knife isn't quite sharp enough, and I ended up being unsuccessful in attempting to take off the tip of a finger )
Why not put bandages on a roll, and have a mechanism strip off the paper packaging, something like how certain types of pre-cut sticker dispensers work? I can kind of see the mechanism in my head, but don't really have the engineering background to draw up much, or present it to someone that could make it.
I guess the manufacturers right now are plenty happy with us ruining at least one of the bandages we mangle in trying to administer First Aid with but one usable hand. Maybe we could put them out of business with an invention like this

(29,414 posts)And then I saw further images within of it taking two hands to pull apart. I'm thinking of something more like an adhesive gun, where you have at least one extra wheel taking up the waste paper. A "bandage gun" would actually be great! Just roll it on and you're done!
