The YUMI-based USB Lite Speed 32 Collection is now available but only from a 6.5GB Google Drive download ZIP file link. I will have a valid torrent link in a day or two. A USB 64-bit collection will be released in August. The collection requires an 8GB USB flash drive for a non-persistent install and 16GB USB flash drive to add some/all of the (highly compressed) 8.5GB of USB persistence files.

It will likely be slow until there are more seeders and leechers.
Are you ready to try the best modern lightweight Linux distros and rescue tools? The 2015 Lite-Speed 32 collection introduces our updated 32-bit selections from well designed, feature-rich, lightweight and fast Linux distros and tools. Linux stars range from ultra-tiny TinyCore (15MB) to the very popular Xubuntu (1GB). Distros can be run "live" direct from USB or installed to hard disk.
An 8GB barebones USB installation is an option. However, for a better experience, a 16GB or larger USB flash drive is required to add USB "live session" persistence plus our added custom tweaking. Eight USB persistence files, 8.5GB total compressed to 1GB, are provided for the recommended full installation.

16gb stick for the install? Man, I'd like to try Mint-Linux but Linux makes me uncomfortable.

Basic install (no USB persistence) is under 7GB on a USB flash drive.
You could try the different Linux distros in a non-persistent USB "live session" from an 8GB USB flash drive. Then only save the ones that appeals to you. After deleting whatever you don't like or need, you will free up space on the USB flash drive so that you can install USB Persistence for the distro(s) where this would be useful.
