...but what I really want to do is direct.

Looks like a movie production company wants to use our house for scenes from "Breakable You", a film with Holly Hunter, Tony Sholub and Alfred Molina. Had an 8-person crew in the house this week to scout each room (apparently they want to repaint the bedroom...). Should know next week.

will they relocate you to a five star hotel?

how much time will they spend using your house?

staying upstairs would be so cool.

I don't know how excited you are, but I'm excited for you.

Hopefully you can discreetly snap some photos and post them.

How did it get chosen?
Do you have to leave during filming?

Some movie scenes were shot in a historic building I worked in , in SF.
It was interesting seeing how they made the outside entry way into a blooming garden of shrubs
and flowers ( all fake)
Because of the incredibly scarce parking, not a lot of people came to watch the filming, and I had to be elsewhere during most it for my job anyhow.

I never bothered to mention that some of the blooms were for spring and others for fall....you see a lot of that on film, I have noticed.

(my neighborhood has a lot of film shoots, and the scouts come by frequently to take photos). We have an 1870s townhouse (4 stories) which, as I follow the story, would serve as a therapist's home-office.

Waiting for details, but probably won't have to move.
