“Motherd—k!” We’re guessing we might all be quoting one of our favorite Abraham Ford-isms after The Walking Dead’s Season 5 finale, at least according to what Abraham’s portrayer, Michael Cudlitz, hints to us about the March 29 season ender.

“It’s going to piss you off,” the actor tells Yahoo TV. “There will be tears, but also, once again, like the writers have been doing pretty consistently, it tees up a new beginning in a very, very different way.”

I have a running-joke at work that we should start a betting pool about who dies tonight...
no one is a deal-breaker for my fandom of the show, though in the back of my head all i keep muttiering is "No Daryl" and "No Michonne"...

I'll be stuck at work tonight, but the bartender and i have an agreement that he will put EVERY TV above the bar on AMC tonight for me, and turn the TV sound on instead of having the usual music.

on The Walking Dead.

Scholars who think about monsters have long noted that vampires and zombies reveal something to us about ourselves and about our humanity. And during AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 5 finale, viewers will have an opportunity to ponder life during a post-apocalyptic world.

Flashing back to an earlier season, though, a profound scene captured the existential quandary that survivors face in an upside-down world. During an episode in the second season, a herd of “walkers” (read: zombies) had just destroyed Hershel Greene’s family farm, where his family and Rick Grimes and his people had managed to establish a community free of flesh-eating zombies.

about age old re-occurring themes of faith and hope, but that's not why the show appeals to so many, so deeply. George A Romero had it right; people fantasize about taking control of their lives in a zombie apocalypse because were so sick of helplessly existing in a mundane and cruel society anyway.

Or Steven Yeun IRL. Said he was very cool; she told him she liked the storyline this season and he repeated that back to her so she took that as he's not going to make it.

FYI Norman Reedus put his house on the market because he needs more privacy since his popularity soared...I live outside of Atlanta. Hopefully!

My son thinks they are hyping everything up and no one is going to die...except maybe Pete. He's been right before; he predicted that Dave was laughing because he was bitten and they were eating tainted meat.

He just left to watch it at a friend's house...my husband volunteered to pick him up afterward so I made a cocktail and am nervously waiting.

ETA: Years ago before TWD show, I bought her The Zombie Survival Guide as we always loved zombie movies, and wrote in it that as my best friend, she has my permission to shoot me in the head if I ever become one. Steven Yeun signed the next page.

I see nothing civil (as in Deanna's "this is civilization&quot about allowing a man to beat his family. Not even one who offers a necessary service.

Deanna is basically saying he gets a chance to kill his family and that's OK with her.

However, Daryl's, Glenn's or Judith's death (or Rick's, Michonne's or Maggie's..or Sasha's) would find me weeping copious amounts of tears.

I'm fond of Eugene and Tara as well.

I could get over Carol's death. Or Carl's. Or Rosita's.

The worst that can happen is that the WD crew get exiled, but they will prove themselves once the Wolf Clan attacks the fort.

Am I mistaken in thinking that Morgan missed a great opportunity to kill those two Wolf men? I thought he was trying to attract zombies when he started beeping the horn.

those were the same two later on - on talking dead, Lennie James said Morgan honked the horn to drive off any walkers that could hurt the guys

Well, you can tell by the way they use their walk,

Maybe 'Stayin' Alive' needs to be updated to 'Stayin' Dead.'

As long as the zombies were surrounding the car it would make it difficult for the two wolf guys to follow Morgan.

I just saw a frame from the zombie pile up and I'm not sure how he could have avoided being bitten.

He could also die from the gunshot wound - no Hershel anymore, no Pete, either. Heck, even Beth had some basic medical training.
