Why has nobody invented a bracelet or necklace that lights up

and is rechargeable? Chandeliers are so pretty. I have digital colored light candles. I've seen bow tie that light up. But jewelry nope. Something in christal would be nice.

I stand corrected. Perhaps the rechargeable battery could be in the clasp. applegrove Mar 2015 #2

As those batteries are lower capacity than non-rechargeable.

http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/b020/ for example takes 3 LR41/AG3 type.

I'm not saying it would be very affordable.

You could use a 25c lipo(which is the size of two pieces of dentine gum stacked). The 25c has enough power to keep my heli flying for 7-10 minutes(including several leds). It would last for days running just a single led.

25c lipo - 150 mAh
LR41- 25-42 mAh

With the plain black band and silver blob, it feels like modern minimalist jewelry to me.

I've only had it a week now, but I'm enjoying it. I permanently shut off my alarm clock and switched to the more subtle wrist vibration to wake me up. That alone was the the cost, but also I keep my phone on mute at work and then always forget to turn it back on at home, so this is pretty handy (no pun intended).

It's got a pedometer and sleep tracker built in too, so about $3 per function - such a deal!
