We pay nearly 150/Mo for 60 channels and Internet. No DVR.

The only problem I have with DirecTv is that mine costs $120 a month.

I don't really need it but I like being able to watch 90% of my Marlins games on Fox Sports FL throughout the season.

We cancelled them a little over a year ago, and ever since they've sent us 100's of pieces of mail, email, and phone calls with "we want you back" on them. Honestly, if this were a personal relationship we could have had them charged with stalking. 15 pieces of mail in the 3 months we were out of the house, I kid you not. I counted.

I would be more than happy to pay for the few channels we watch to be delivered over the internet. I'm thinking that's the future.

Funny the first time or two you see them, but seeing them time after time after time they just get old.

As for Dish TV and Direct TV, I wouldn't know, as I don't have either of those services. I'm a slave to the cable, but whatever. Never was impressed by satellite TV, and I'm not prepared to "cut the cord", either.

annoying than some of the loud ass, obnoxious commercials I keep seeing over and over again on the same channels.

As for Direct TV, we've had them for over 16 years and have been happy with them. Started out with Dish and they sucked big time

as for their service meh better than comcast from what I've been told
What I do know is that every time I call them to cancel something they give me a deal on something else, like I called to cancel dog tv, got mostly out of curiosity it was cheap, I got showtime for 3 months free, when the 3 months was up I called to cancel that before I had to pay for it and wound up with HBO for $10 a month I going to get HBO anyway starting in April for Game of Thrones
