5 Scientific, Peer-Reviewed Studies That Prove Republicans Are Just Stupid

CONSERVATISM, RACISM AND LOW IQ

“Bright Minds and Dark Attitudes” is a study performed by researchers at Brock University,
The researchers found that having lower general intelligence in childhood could predict conservative and racist ideas as an adult. That’s right: having a low IQ score makes you more likely to vote conservative… and be a racist.

Researchers over at the University of Arkansas released their study [link opens PDF] “Low-Effort Thought Promotes Political Conservatism,” and things started to make sense. They performed four different studies, all of which reduced subjects’ ability to use “effortful, deliberate thought,” and they found that situations causing low-effort thought resulted in more conservative beliefs.

Reasoning isn't easy and has to be learned. Reasoning through complex ideas and issues is even harder. When you're mentally lazy, or not possessed of very much in the way of mental horsepower to begin with, it's far too difficult to reason things through; it's so much easier to settle for simple, inevitably wrong, platitudes.

Let us remember though, people are products of their environment, if we were born and raised in Saudi Arabia even with the exact same genes we have now we would almost certainly be Muslim Extremists, if we were born and raised in Missouri we would be Christian Extremists, of course there are always exceptions but there are reasons for everything. Do not underestimate the power of propaganda my leftist friends, these people have been brainwashed they are not "stupid" people in the general sense. Some of course likely are, but I think the majority are normal people who drew the short straw in life when it comes to who your parents are, what city/town you are raised in etc.

for our Christians.

And while conservative communities may tend to breed more conservatives, it isn't always so. I grew up in the Bible Belt (tho, admittedly the northern edge) surrounded by Christians eho gad no doubt God exists and who always voted Republican. Straight ticket, without question. Oh, and Dad & bro also racist. Yet I'm none of those.

I do agree that one does tend to embrace and hang on to community beliefs, but education can change that. That's why conserv are doing their best to submarine educ standards.

It would be like blaming slaves for not being able to read or not knowing American history, you cant blame them for ignorance that was forced upon them by their masters, or their parents/community. The vast majority of my family is racist aside from my immediate family, we all moved to far far West Texas in the desert and its very liberal and multicultural, over 80% Hispanic and we are white, but our family is from Missouri and I havent visited them since I was a kid because how incredibly racist they are, I dont even talk to them. I remember being a kid visiting over there with my brothers and we were listening to rap music and my Grandpa started screaming "Turn that Ni**er music down!!". My racist uncle actually just moved in a couple weeks ago from Missouri but we just ignore him and he ignores us for the most part, until he comes home at night drunk that is....He is generally a nice person though, until God, Guns, or Blacks/Mexicans are brought up. I dont blame him, he was raised by my racist Grandpa in a racist small town, whereas I was born in a large liberal city in the middle of a desert literally surrounded by a ring of mountains, we largely have our own culture here and its far leftist, despite being in Texas. We are closer to Juarez Mexico and Las Cruces New Mexico than we are closer to any other Texas City, so those places have a larger influence on us than Texas itself, which HATES our guts and tries to ignore us and pretend we dont exist lol.
