my birthday cake

recently someone here posted a link to cake wrecks dot com & i thought a lot of the pictures were really funny. i told my daughter about them. so here is the cake my funny, sweet girl gave me. i absolutely loved it!

a funny part of this was that when my daughter picked it up it said "happy birthday mom" with purple frosting. the cake decorator thought they were correcting a mistake from the original order that said "happy birthday mom in purple" with red frosting.

my daughter had to explain that the person who wrote the original ticket for the order had written it correctly--that it was supposed to be a humorous cake. so they took it in the back and "fixed" it!

i never had a cake like this one. it was a fun surprise & also delicious!

5. When I was a kid

I made a cake for father's day. I piped frosting on top that was supposed to say Happy Father's Day, but I became distracted and it turned out to be "Happy Fappy."
