It's our last night in Maryland...

The movers have packed, loaded, and taken all of our stuff westward towards our new place in Ohio. We are staying in a hotel nearby, and will pick up the cats in the morning and then head west! The cats are probably have a big party now, sans catnip, as that was packed, also!!

Funny, but maidinmaryland is moving back to Ohio where madeinmaryland was made originally!!

I returned a couple of years ago following a 36 year absence.

I originally moved to Ohio in '70 at the tender age of 12. Left in '75.

From there, it was Maryland, Colorado, Arizona, Michigan, then Texas for 24 years. I never thought I'd end up back in Ohio, but I'm glad I did!

I hear it during pro games on NBC. They have this thing where they have the starters introduce themselves during the first few plays. They say their names and the school they attended. When it's Ohio State, they always say "THE! Ohio State University." I don't get it.
