(34,136 posts)Usually in the morning. I just love juice and the kind you can make in your juicer is so far superior to anything I have ever tasted that it makes me happy.
I love the combo of tomatoes, oranges and carrots. I always throw in at least one leaf of kale and a little ginger and almost always lime, those three things always because of how good they are for you, the lime for taste actually. I don't have any recipes though. I always just use what I have. Grapes are fantastic for sweetening something, so much juice.
For those who will want to nail you for wasting so much here is the deal. You can use the pulp in cooking for bulk. I feed a lot of mine to my goats but mostly it goes into making great compost.
BTW, I tried cilantro once but had no luck. I think I may try it again. I also think this would be a great thing for making tomato sauce. Just remove the skin and the seeds and mix the juice and pulp after you have run it through and you won't have to stand around with that crank and strainer.

It makes the most beautiful emerald-green juice, but is EXTREMELY bitter.
