the neighbor's beagles are out again

They're out in the woods behind our house, baying for all they're worth, digging their freedom. We've lived here for twelve years, and they get out at least twice a year. It's very aggravating.

I hope they don't wake Mrs. V.

That's got to be tough to deal with. The noise is bad enough, but digging?

You have my sympathies. I hope they don't wake Mrs.V. either.

as in "enjoying." It is impossible for anyone to dig to any depth in our hard red Maryland clay.

Our dumbass neighbor had one in a pen.... the poor thing bayed at every critter that passed by. I am so glad they are long gone.
