Very nice, and what a fine crustacean you have there!

Did you have one of the cottages?

I'm off to Moloka'i Sunday, more business than pleasure.

No boyfriend planning it all or complaining because he doesn't want to do something. Just fun and adventure. Going where I want to go and doing what I want to do without having to please someone else.

There are actually men out there that aren't self absorbed whiners like my ex boyfriend. Sorry, just out of a relationship. Should have realized he was not right for me a long time ago. Looking forward to finding a better man later on. I think I'm going to enjoy being single for awhile.

For the last 39 years, I've been taking vacations with my girldfiend/wife (the transition happened some 31 years ago), and there hasn't been a one of them I'd have wanted to do alone or with anyone else.

Traveling with someone you're completely comfortable with is THE best.

On the other hand, I can imagine that traveling with someone you are NOT completely comfortable with must be torture. If being single for a while will help you clear your vision for a while, go for it. I haven't been single for nearly 40 years now, and sure as hell don't want to enter a retraining program at this point.

(I just googled to see what they're called )

Have you been snorkling, and swimming with dolphins, or are you simply sleeping on the beach and feasting on seafood?

Absolutely brilliant holiday. Amazing country. amazing people.

First week back, we were saying "where were we last last week at this time?"

We want to go back.

Just as an aside...anything in the US worth seeing????

Just kidding. It's on our Soon-To-Do list.

Speaking Arabic would be a great help although many signs are bilingual and many Jordanians speak English.

Driving in Amman would be stressful (we had a driver). Double parking is apparently allowed, parking in weird places is ok, pedestrians wandering across the street is ok.

Yeah, we're going back.

Parking attendants push cars into place and when you come to collect your car, it might be three deep. They push cars out of the way so you can get your car.

I have no idea how Google told you to pronounce it, but the Greeks pronounce it "gYAA-soo" with the initial "g" barely perceptible.
