In a Marcel Duchamp direction. I want to find an common object, clean it up and divorce it from its function and display it as art with a donation pail. Record results.

My inspiration:

Fountain Marcel Duchamp (under alias Richard Mutt) 1917

Fountain was submitted anonymously by Duchamp, already a world-famous artist, to the Society of Independent Artists show in NYC in 1917 as a Dada commentary on art meant to "shift the focus of art from physical craft to intellectual interpretation."1
Despite policy of SIA to display any work submitted to this show, from any artist, provided they had paid the submission fee, Fountain was rejected. Only after intense debate among the board (on which Duchamp sat, most of his peers not knowing he was R. Mutt) accepted but hidden during the show.

Duchamp resigned in protest.
