shredding boo's door and Andy handing over Woody are huge, but honestly, to me, there is nothing like the montage scene in up.
ETA and oh God, Marlin's wife.

(And that new word they make, P<°XAR, doesn't even make any sense, unless it's a synonym for Locutus.)

(10,000 posts)If you ask John Lasseter today, he'd tell you that there is "no 'I' in team", and that the "stomping of the 'I" represents the "collaborative, team spirit of Pixar."
The Truth: "I" is the only shared letter in the words "Pixar" and "Disney." The partnership (later to become a merger) with Disney was initially viewed with disgust and disdain because of Disney's stuck-in-the-past marriage to hand-drawn animation. The lamp is the light of "enlightenment" (or knowledge, if you will) mercilessly stomping on the letter that was symbolic of the business relationship between the two companies. The message: we will stomp Disney into the ground.
....okay, I made all of that up, but it sounds like a really good story.

(50,566 posts)Toy Story 3. Andy is going off to college. As the mom of a brown-haired teenage boy with a little sister and a blue room with hardwood floors, this just about kills me. At least we have kitties instead of a dog, though.
