(6,261 posts)That's how I always heard the story, but it isn't universally accepted apparently. He may also have actually seen this ad which apparently did appear in an old newspaper once. At least, that's what I found randomly browsing around on 'tinternet one day.

Then they faced the world together, gathering up all the orphaned animals.
