When my starter word comes up empty, I have a "go to" word. Which just happened to be the answer to today's puzzle. You could have knocked me over w/a feather!

Be that as it may, it has the vowels that my starter word doesn't. That's why it's my "go to" word.

Is that "intro" is not an actual word, it's an abbreviation.

I have several I like to use, but the thing is you want to use one w/the most vowels. Ex: adieu. amuse. louie. ouija..

it is a word according to Wordle. Wordle accepts a lot of things I would not call words. But languages are not set in stone. They change as usage changes. And usage certainly has changed on this one over my lifetime.
