(5,556 posts)Presbyterian means half sweet soda and half club soda. With a cherry and orange slice, of course. They feed these to babies in Milwaukee!

(41 posts)if I'm having a glass of scotch at 6pm on Saturday, I'm "living in the moment". If I do the same thing at 8am at the water cooler I'm gonna be 'having a talk w/ H.R.'?

(6,395 posts)Drinking Chambord and Champagne right now. But I often default to a Moscow Mule or Vodka Martini for something hard. But when it comes to wine, give me a full bodied Syrah.

(297 posts)With two wedges of lime.
But once summer hits, we switch to a gin derivative, which is equally delicious:
Pimms No. 1 with Lemonade, aka Pimms Cup
Traditional Wimbledon cocktail but arguably the best summer drink ever. Loaded with fruit slices, cucumber different variations can be made.

(23,105 posts)Grey Goose is it, it's what I usually drink when I drink. I'm not much of a drinker, only drink when we go out once a week or have company. My usual drink is Grey Goose with tonic and 2 orange slices. I squeeze one for the flavor and put the other in the drink to marinate and eat it when I'm done. So light and refreshing. One is usually enough, with the way our favorite bartender pours, which is generously.
My other drink is a margarita and those are great on the rocks, no salt & with a Grand Marnier float. I prefer Don Julio Resposada for those.

(65,068 posts)...a single malt scotch (highlands), neat.
My favorite is Glenmorangie, with Glenlivet 2nd.
Once had a 30 year aged Glenmorangie. Unreal!
