🏀 March Madness - interesting fact about the original 13 rules

There’s nothing in the rules that says you CAN’T bounce the ball.

Rule 3
A player cannot run with the ball. The player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man who catches the ball when running at a good speed if he tries to stop.

Back in '61 when I was a CYO point guard in the 9th grade, I got called a few times for palming, and the priest coaching the game made me feel like a sinner for trying to semi-carry the ball down court in my little palm.

If that priest saw the palming in the NBA today, he's probably damn them all to "he(double-hockey sticks)". LeBron is a palming cheater, yet gets MVP awards. That's at least a venial sin.
